Kris V. Srikrishnan

Kris V. Srikrishnan is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and member of IBM Academy of Technology. He is currently a DE and Director or global partnerships, IBM Research and University Programs at IBM Corporation. Kris Srikrishnan received a Ph.D degree in Solid State Science & Technology from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York and a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Madras. He was a post-doctoral research fellow at University of Virginia prior to joining IBM.

During his IBM Career, he spent over a decade in Microelectronics Division holding technical and management positions working on semiconductor process, devices and packaging.. He is the author of several professional papers and holder of over 20 patents He is an editor and author of two volumes of “Handbook of Semiconductor Interconnection technology’, the second edition published by CRC in 2006. He held the position of IP (Intellectual Property) Chair assignee from IBM Microelectronics Laboratory. Kris has extensive experience in patent and technology licensing, and promoting technology partnership.. In the past few years, he has been a technology advocate representing IBM and IBM Research technologies to global companies and governments. .In his current responsibility, he is particularly focused on collaborations partnering with Universities
