Guideline of Putting Your Publication on the InfoLab Website


Remember that you need to send the following data to the web administrator right after having the camera-ready version.
  • Step 0: Convert your file version from PS file to PDF file (using Acrobat)

  • Step 1 (optional): Write the citation information of this paper on the first page.
    For example, ¡§To Appear in Journal of Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS) by Springer-Verlag, 2002.¡¨

  • Step 2: Name the file properly.
    For conference papers, please use the conference name in the beginning and then put the published year, e.g., GIS2001.pdf, ICME2002.pdf. If there are two or more papers in the same conference, please put the name of the system, the algorithm, or the method in the end, e.g., DBTel2001-Yima.pdf
    For journal papers, please use the journal name in the beginning and then put the published year, e.g., IEEEComputerMagazine2002.pdf

  • Step3: Give the correct citation information and the required URL data to the web administrator in the email. Please follow the format mentioned below.
    For conference papers, you need to provide the URL of the conference. The citation format is: (Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name) (, Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name)* [,] and Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name], Title, Conference location, Month Year
    E.g., Cyrus Shahabi, Mehdi Sharifzadeh, and Albert A. Rizzo, Modeling Data of Immersive Environments, ACM First International Workshop on Immersive Telepresence (ITP), Juan Les Pins, France, December 2002

    The citation format for journal paper is: (Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name) (, Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name)* [,] and Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name], Title, Jounral_Name, Vol. #, No. #, pages ###-###, Month Year
    E.g., Cyrus Shahabi, Farnoush Banaei-Kashani, Decentralized Resource Management for a Distributed Continuous Media Server, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS), Vol. 13, No. 7, July 2002

    The citation format for book chapter is: (Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name) (, Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name)* [,] and Full_First_name [initial of Middle name] Last_name], Title, In Book_Name, Publisher, Year, ISBN ##-#######-######-###

  • Step 4(Optional): Remind the web administrator later (by email) if your paper does not show up.

  • Step 5: Check if there is any error on the web and report to the web administrator
