  • Namseoul University, Korea
    • International Education and Research Alliance (IERA) Program: This program is to enable international academic institutes to partner with IMSC in their research and educational activities through diverse mechanisms such as research collaboration, training program, technology transfer and licensing, information exchange.

  • Media Management Research Lab at National University of Singapore, Singapore.
    • Geovid: Georeferenced user-generated video management project.
  • Civil and Environmental Engineering at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Israel.
    • Vision based traffic flow data extraction project.

IMSC enjoyed a long-running relationship with III. This collaboration included four major initiatives:

Computer and Communications Research Labs of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsinchu, Taiwan, the Republic of China

In this collaboration led by Prof. C.C. (Jay) Kuo, IMSC and CCL/ITRI investigators examined selected topics in cable modems:

(1) Carrier synchronization of multicarrier, code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) over HFC environment, and
(2) Backward compatible physical layer system within the standard DOCSIS 2.0

NTT DoCoMo, Multimedia Laboratories, Yokosuka Research Park, Kanagawa, Japan

NTT DoCoMo's main interest was in IMSC's research on UltraWideBand (UWB) Wireless Radio being carried out at the UltRa Lab directed by Prof. Robert Scholtz.
