Computer and Communications Research Labs of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsinchu, Taiwan, the Republic of China
In this collaboration led by Prof. C.C. (Jay) Kuo, IMSC and CCL/ITRI investigators examined selected topics in cable modems:
(1) Carrier synchronization of multicarrier, code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) over HFC environment, and
(2) Backward compatible physical layer system within the standard DOCSIS 2.0
NTT DoCoMo, Multimedia Laboratories, Yokosuka Research Park, Kanagawa, Japan
NTT DoCoMo's main interest was in IMSC's research on UltraWideBand (UWB) Wireless Radio being carried out at the UltRa Lab directed by Prof. Robert Scholtz.
